Does the US/UK/Australian "War on ISIS" Pass The Sniff Test?

On September 16th 2015 an article was posted with the title: Australian jets drop first bombs on Islamic State targets in Syria. In the article Defence Minister Kevin Andrews confirmed that Australian aircraft dropped bombs on ISIS targets in Syria for the first time two days before.(1) About the same time it became clear that the Russian Federation was also ready began to fighting terrorism in Syria. On 30th September they made their first air strikes on terrorist positions in Syria. One might think that the US would be happy to find support in their war on ISIS. However it seems the Russians attacked what are called CIA backed rebels.

Here we encounter the verbal slight of hand used by the West. Groups described as "moderate" rebels are either not terrorists or are "good" terrorists, "better" than Assad. These are OK because they are "ours". However this is all just part of the standard propaganda cover story. The real story has been revealed in documents obtained in the US which describe the planning in 2012 for the events we have seen since then.

These documents reveal that the groups fighting in Syria against the government are not rebels. They are not Syrians fighting against their own government. They are foreign fighters, men from other Middle Eastern countries and beyond. They are mercenaries, paid to fight by the West, the Saudis, Qatar, and others. They have been organized, trained and armed by the CIA and Mossad.

In May 2015 posted a report about a stunning discovery by the US Government watchdog Judicial Watch. They forced the US government to reveal documents in which the US planned their support of the rise of ISIS in Syria and directed the CIA train ISIS members in Jordan:

"The U.S. intelligence documents not only confirms suspicions that the United States and some of its coalition allies had actually facilitated the rise of the ISIS in Syria – as a counterweight to the Syrian government of President Bashar al-Assad- but also that ISIS members were initially trained by members and contractors of the Central Intelligence Agency at facilities in Jordan in 2012."(2)

The US Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) provides military intelligence in support of planners, policymakers and operations for the US Department of Defense and intelligence community. Here are two parts of the relevant US Defense Intelligence Agency document(2) written in August 2012:

This shows that extreme Muslim terrorists – salafists, Muslims Brotherhood, and AQI (Al Qaeda in Iraq) – have always been the major forces driving the insurgency in Syria. The salafists, following the Wahhabi sect of Sunni Islam, are supported by Saudi Arabia. They formed the core of the Taliban and Al Qaeda. The Muslim Brotherhood, which has similar fundamentalist beliefs, is supported by Qatar. These groups have been active in Middle East politics for almost 100 years.

Yes, you read that correctly:

… there is the possibility of establishing a
declared or undeclared Salafist Principality in eastern Syria (Hasaka and Der Zor), and this is exactly what the supporting powers to the opposition want, in order to isolate the Syrian regime ….

That is, the powers supporting the Syrian opposition – the US and the UK, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey - wanted to create an Islamic caliphate in order to challenge Syrian president Assad, and they trained the people who became ISIS. What happened in Syria was no accident. These documents show that the US was involved in these ghastly crimes from the very beginning.

Further confirmation of the US role in creating ISIS came in August 2015 when the Foreign Policy Journal posted an article in which former director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, Michael Flynn, confirmed that the rise of Islamic State in Syria was a willful decision to support an insurgency that had Salafists, Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood.(4)

The documents from the US Defense Intelligence Agency contradict the official line of Western governments on their policies in Syria. The opponents of the Syrian government are not "rebels" but foreign mercenaries trained and paid for by governments hostile to Syria. They also raise disturbing questions about what must be secret Western support for violent extremists in the UK, Australia and elsewhere whose terrorist attacks are used to justify excessive mass surveillance and crackdowns on civil liberties at home.

The "War on ISIS" is a fraud. The US, UK, and now Australia are now openly working to remove the Syrian government in an illegal and unjust war of aggression. Further, our privacy and liberties are being taken away by our governments to protect us from a fiction of their own creation. In reality these governments are far more dangerous than any distant terrorist threat. They are here. They are in power. They lie every time they move their lips. And they are happy to support the paid killers who make up ISIS. It should make your blood run cold!

Notice that the idea that the US and its allies created ISIS is not a conspiracy theory. It is not speculation, but fact revealed by official US documents. These documents show that the "War on ISIS" does not pass the Sniff Test. It has been based on lies since the beginning. It seems only the Russians can smell a rat. How long can politicians and the media in the West continue with their lies?
